ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival at Cochin & Proceed to Munnar – (130 Kms – Approx 4 Hrs)
On arrival at Cochin, proceed to Munnar. A breathtakingly beautiful - haven of peace and tranquility which cannot be portrayed on a single canvas. Situated at 1,600m above sea level with an unending expanse of tea plantations - pristine valleys and mountains, you’re often up above the clouds watching veils of mist clinging to the mountain tops. Among the exotic flora found in the forests and grasslands here is the Neelakurinji/Strobilanthes. This flower which bathes the hills in blue once every twelve years will bloom next in 2018. On the way to Munnar visit Cheeyappara & Valara waterfalls. The Cheeyappara Waterfall cascades down in seven steps. Valara has a chain of waterfalls surrounded by thick green forests. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 2: Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast proceeds sightseeing in Munnar. Visit Mattupetty Dam (ticket price extra), a storage concrete gravity dam built in the mountains. Mattupetty offers many fascinating sights to relish. Besides the tea plantations & the rolling grasslands, the Shola forests in and around Mattupetty are ideal for trekking and are habitat to a variety of birds.
Later visit Kundala Dam (ticket price extra), the famous Neela Kurunji flowers which bloom once in twelve years, bloom in the hills and valleys around Kundala lake.
En route visit Echo Point & Pothamedu View Point. Echo Point always has a greenish look as it is covered with abundant green scenery. View Point is perfect to enjoy the spectacular beauty of the coffee, tea & cardamom plantations. They are an adventurous destination, which will be a perfect choice for those who love to have a nature walk or trek. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 3: Transfer from Munnar to Kochi & Kochi Sightseeing Tour
On your arrival at Cochin, transfer to the hotel. Kochi is arguably the ideal starting point for exploring the unfathomable diversity & beauty of Kerala.
Check-in at the hotel & later head out for sightseeing covering the historical towns of Fort Cochin & Mattancherry which consists of a wonderfully built atmosphere - thick with the smell of the past.
Jewish Synagogue - a 400-year-old synagogue. Enter the synagogue & the large main hall arrests your attention with a display of rare antique objects that add to the grandeur of the place.
The St. Francis Church is well-known for its beautiful architecture & ambiance & is believed to be one of the oldest churches built by Europeans in India.
Santa Cruz Basilica (at extra cost) - one of the eight Basilicas in India, this church is one of the finest & most impressive churches & visited by tourists the whole year round.
Vasco House (built in the Portuguese style of architecture) is believed to be the house where Vasco Da Gama stayed during his visits to Kochi, right until his death in 1524.
Day 4: Departure from Kochi
After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Cochin airport / Railway station for an onward journey back home.

Day 01 : Cochin - Munnar (158 kms. - 04 hrs.).
Upon arrival, our representative will greet you at Kochi Airport/Railway Station. Later proceed to Munnar, which is breathtakingly beautiful, a haven of peace and tranquility - the idyllic tourist destination in God's own country. On the way, you can also watch the adorable waterfalls in Cheeyappara and the colorful flowers in Blossom Garden. Explore the rest of the day along with nature. Overnight stay at the Hotel/Resort.

Day 02 : Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast proceeds for a morning sightseeing trip of Munnar visiting the Eravikulam National Park where you can see the very rare mountain goats natively called the Nilgiri Tahr. Visit Tea Museum, Mattupetty Lake Dam, and Kundala Lake. En-route visit Echo Point, View Point green carpet of Tea Gardens. Overnight stay at Munnar Hotel/Resort.

Here you can go for a Wildlife cruise to view a large variety of wildlife like Wild Elephants, Nilgiri Langur, Sambar Deer, and Wild Bison and quite a lot of unique birds can also be spotted. After breakfast, start your journey towards Athirapally Waterfalls, the most famous waterfalls of Kerala. These are magnificent waterfalls on the Chalakudy River located at the entrance to the Sholayar hill range in the Thrissur district. This waterfall drops from a height of 80 feet through several parallel streams offering great scenic beauty. In the monsoon season, the water gets strength and all the streams join together and appear like Niagara Falls. This is the biggest waterfall in Kerala and is well known for its scenic beauty. Secondly, visit Puthe Maliga Palace Museum (ticket price extra) - a 200-year-old palace that has carved wooden ceilings, marble sculptures & imported Belgian glass. Inside you'll find Kathakali images, an armory, portraits of maharajas, ornate thrones & other artifacts.
Later proceed to Veli Tourist Village, a beautiful & popular picnic spot well-known because of its serenity, the Lake that meets the Arabian Sea. The main attraction of Veli Tourist Village is a floating bridge that has been erected at this place. Pookot Lake is a natural freshwater lake surrounded by evergreen forests and rolling hills. The lake has the shape of India's map. The lake is spread across an area of 13 acres with a maximum depth of 6.5 m. The Panamaram stream, one of the main tributaries of the Kabini River, originates from Pookote Lake. The lake offers a boating facility with pedal and row boats. The pedal boats offer 2-seater and 4-seater boating facilities while row boats are 7-seater.
Lakkidi Viewpoint also known as 'the Gateway of Wayanad'i s a popular viewpoint that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding cliffs and valleys. Lakkidi is also famous for the Chain Tree, which is a large ficus tree bounded by a chain. Lakkidi is located at the crest of the serpentine Thamarassery ghat pass, which features over 9 hairpin curves. The 12 km long ghat road from Adivaram to Lakkidi passing through thick forest leaves a wonderful experience. The lush green hills, gorges, and streams on both sides of the passage up the hill are very scenic and must-see.
Banasura Sagar Dam is reckoned as the largest earth dam in India & the second largest of its kind in Asia. The dam is made up of massive stacks of stones & boulders. Edakkal Caves which literally means a stone in between. The caves are famous for their pictorial paintings (cave paintings) which are considered to be from 6000 BC. You can sight carvings of humans, and animal figures & objects used by humans, on the walls of the caves. These carvings give great evidence of a highly civilized society that lived in the pre-historic age. Edakkal caves have drawn the great attention of archeologists & historians worldwide.
Pookot Lake is a natural freshwater lake surrounded by evergreen forests and rolling hills. The lake has the shape of India's map. The lake is spread across an area of 13 acres with a maximum depth of 6.5 m. The Panamaram stream, one of the main tributaries of the Kabini River, originates from Pookote Lake. The lake offers a boating facility with pedal and row boats. The pedal boats offer 2-seater and 4-seater boating facilities while row boats are 7-seater.
Lakkidi Viewpoint also known as 'the Gateway of Wayanad'i s a popular viewpoint that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding cliffs and valleys. Lakkidi is also famous for the Chain Tree, which is a large ficus tree bounded by a chain. Lakkidi is located at the crest of the serpentine Thamarassery ghat pass, which features over 9 hairpin curves. The 12 km long ghat road from Adivaram to Lakkidi passing through thick forest leaves a wonderful experience. The lush green hills, gorges, and streams on both sides of the passage up the hill are very scenic and must-see.
Banasura Sagar Dam is reckoned as the largest earth dam in India & the second largest of its kind in Asia. The dam is made up of massive stacks of stones & boulders. ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival at Cochin & Proceed to Munnar – (130 Kms – Approx 4 Hrs)
On arrival at Cochin, proceed to Munnar. A breathtakingly beautiful - haven of peace and tranquility which cannot be portrayed on a single canvas. Situated at 1,600m above sea level with an unending expanse of tea plantations - pristine valleys and mountains, you’re often up above the clouds watching veils of mist clinging to the mountain tops. Among the exotic flora found in the forests and grasslands here is the Neelakurinji/Strobilanthes. This flower which bathes the hills in blue once every twelve years will bloom next in 2018. On the way to Munnar visit Cheeyappara & Valara waterfalls. The Cheeyappara Waterfall cascades down in seven steps. Valara has a chain of waterfalls surrounded by thick green forests. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 2: Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast proceeds sightseeing in Munnar. Visit Mattupetty Dam (ticket price extra), a storage concrete gravity dam built in the mountains. Mattupetty offers many fascinating sights to relish. Besides the tea plantations & the rolling grasslands, the Shola forests in and around Mattupetty are ideal for trekking and are habitat to a variety of birds.
Later visit Kundala Dam (ticket price extra), the famous Neela Kurunji flowers which bloom once in twelve years, bloom in the hills and valleys around Kundala lake.
En route visit Echo Point & Pothamedu View Point. Echo Point always has a greenish look as it is covered with abundant green scenery. View Point is perfect to enjoy the spectacular beauty of the coffee, tea & cardamom plantations. They are an adventurous destination, which will be a perfect choice for those who love to have a nature walk or trek. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 3: Munnar to Thekkady - (85 Kms - Approx 3 Hrs)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel & proceed to Thekkady.
Thekkady is considered a heaven for natural spices. The Periyar forests of Thekkady are one of the finest wildlife reserves in India. Periyar encompasses 777 sq km & a 26-sq-km artificial lake.
Check-in at the hotel & later head out for sightseeing to visit the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary (ticket price extra), it is home to herds of wild Elephants, Sambar, Tigers, Gaur, Lion-tailed Macaques, Nilgiri Langurs & more. The place can sometimes feel a bit like Disneyland-in-the-Ghats, but its mountain scenery & jungle walks make for an enjoyable visit. Evening enjoys the boat cruise in the lake (at additional cost) to spot wild animals. Overnight stay at Hotel
Day 4: Thekkady to Alleppey
After breakfast proceeds to Alleppey which has an immense natural beauty with a large network of inland canals earning it the sobriquet "Venice of the east” & it is famous for backwater cruising & boat racing.
On arrival check-in into your hotel/houseboat & cruise (if staying in a houseboat) through the narrow canal amidst the Paddy Fields, Coconut Lagoons & Coir Villages which offer panoramic sights one can never forget. This is one of Kerala’s most mesmerizingly beautiful & relaxing experiences. You may visit Mullakal town, Alleppey beaches, Temple, or Church as per availability of time. Overnight stay in Alleppey.
Day 5: Alleppey to Kovalam (160 Kms - Approx 4.5 Hrs)
Once you've had breakfast, check out of the hotel and head to Kovalam. Kovalam sometimes referred to as the "Paradise of the South," is a well-known beach resort with three nearby crescent-shaped beaches Evening relax at the beach.
Return to Kovalam. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
Day 6: Sightseeing of Kanyakumari & Return to Kovalam (85 Kms - Approx 2 Hrs) ( Option Kovalam sightseeing)
After breakfast, drive to Kanyakumari. It is surrounded by Majestic Hills & sea shores, fringed with coconut trees & paddy fields.
On the way visit Suchindram - a holy place located on the bank of the river Pazhayar. In Kanyakumari, visit Vivekananda Rock Memorial (at extra cost) - a sacred monument that is believed that it was on this rock that Goddess Kanyakumari did Tapas.
Visit the Thiruvalluvar statue - a memorial statue of Thiruvalluvar. The pedestal of the statue is 38 feet height & the statue over it is 95 feet tall with a grand total of 133 feet for the entire sculpture. Evening drive back to Kovalam & overnight stay at Hotel
Kovalam Option
Later proceeds sightseeing in Trivandrum, the city of the Holy Ananth which is named after Ananthan, the cosmic serpent with a thousand heads.
Visit Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple (260 yrs old) - the most religious icon of the city built by the Travancore Royal family, here the deity Padmanabha reclines on the sacred serpent & is made from over 10,000 sacred stones that were transported from Nepal by an elephant.
Secondly, visit Puthe Maliga Palace Museum (ticket price extra) - a 200-year-old palace that has carved wooden ceilings, marble sculptures & imported Belgian glass. Inside you'll find Kathakali images, an armory, portraits of maharajas, ornate thrones & other artifacts.
Later proceed to Veli Tourist Village, a beautiful & popular picnic spot well-known because of its serenity, the Lake that meets the Arabian Sea. The main attraction of Veli Tourist Village is a floating bridge that has been erected at this place. The place also has a floating restaurant that gives you an amazing array of food products that might match your taste buds.
By evening proceed to Shankumugham Beach, the beach is well known for its breathtaking sunset view which is a such memorable moment whose beauty will refresh your mind. The beautiful sculpture of a mermaid is a major attraction here, this giant statue is more than 35m long.
Day 7: Departure from Kovalam
Option: If you opt for late night flight, Kovalam sightseeing(as above) can be covered during the day of departure.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel & transfer to Trivandrum airport for departure, back home with beautiful memories of God's Own Country.

General Terms
Hotel Policy
- Standard Hotel check-in time is usually between 12 PM – 2 PM & check-out time is between 10 AM to 12 PM. Early check-in is subject to availability & the hotel may charge extra (not included in the tour price). In case of late check-in, please inform the hotel about your arrival time.
- In case you arrive before check-in time & free rooms are unavailable, you can fresh-up in the hotel washroom and proceed with sightseeing until your check-in time.
- The Government ID proof is mandatory during the check-in process.
- The Age group of a child differs from hotel policy and ensures the correct age is disclosed during the booking of the tour package,.Any discrepancy will attract additional charges and payable directly at the hotel.
Vehicle Policy
- Vehicles as per group size on Sharing basis Vehicle is not at disposal – means it is for transfers and sightseeing as per the itinerary.
- Seat Allotment in the Vehicle is on a first come first serve basis at the venue, irrespective of the booking dates.
- Private vehicles are specified for respective individuals only. ( On Disposal / not on Disposal).
- AC will be switched off on Hill stations and Snow destinations.
- Sightseeing is limited to the places mentioned in the itinerary. If time permits, you may visit additional places (not mentioned in the itinerary) by paying for extra kilometers to the cab driver.
- Customers should be ready for sightseeing at Start Time mentioned in the itinerary in order to cover all the places in the itinerary. Sightseeing can’t extend beyond 7 PM and any places missed can’t be covered on the following day.
