Breakfasts are included from Day 2 to Day 6. Other meals are at your own expense, allowing flexibility to explore local cuisine.
Bhutanese food is mildly spicy and often includes red rice, ema datshi (chili cheese), and hearty stews. Vegetarian options are widely available.
Transport & Road Conditions
Travel is via Hatchback or SUV depending on group size. Roads are scenic but winding—motion sickness medication may be helpful.
Roadblocks due to landslides or weather are rare but possible. In such cases, alternate arrangements will be made where feasible.
Connectivity & Currency
Indian SIM cards may not work reliably. Local SIMs are available in Thimphu and Paro.
Bhutanese currency is Ngultrum (BTN), but Indian Rupees (INR) are widely accepted (except ₹2,000 notes).
ATMs are available in major towns, but cash is recommended for remote areas.
Cultural Etiquette
Dress modestly when visiting monasteries and dzongs. Sleeveless tops and shorts are discouraged.

Trekking to Taktsang Monastery
The trek is moderately challenging and takes 4–5 hours round trip. Horses are available for hire up to halfway.
