Documents Required
  1. Passport
    • Original passport issued within 10 years
    • Valid for 6 months beyond departure
    • At least 2 blank visa pages
    • No alterations or handwritten amendments
  2. Photograph
    • Three recent colored passport size photos (35x45 mm)
    • Facial image 25–35 mm from chin to crown
    • Plain white background, matt or semi-matt finish
    • Scanned/unclear photos not accepted
  3. Accommodation
    • Confirmed hotel voucher or cruise confirmation
    • If staying with relatives/friends: invitation letter + ID proof + passport/residence card + financial documents
  4. Flight Ticket – Confirmed onward and return reservation
  5. Itinerary – Day-wise travel plan (A4 paper or travel agent letterhead)
  6. Travel Insurance
    • Coverage of minimum €30,000 or $50,000 per person
    • Must cover medical, repatriation, emergencies
    • Insurance should cover entire Schengen stay
    • For long-term visas, initial journey coverage is sufficient
  7. Proof of Funds – Last 6 months bank statement, signed & attested, dated within 1 week
  8. ITR – Last 3 years income tax returns
  9. Cover Letter – Applicant’s covering letter (A4 or business letterhead)
  10. Employment Letter – Company letter with applicant details, salary, position, leave approval
  11. NOC – From school/institute (for students/minors)
  12. GST Copy – Required if self-employed
  13. Leave Letter – From employer + employment ID card copy
  14. Biometric
    • Mandatory for first-time Schengen applicants
    • Children under 12 exempt
    • Valid for 59 months after submission
    • Some countries may request re-submission
